I definitely like that you get funds faster than other leading funding websites. The 100% fee free is not accurate. You still get charged the same as other websites. 30 cents per donation and then the 2.9% of the amount raised or whatever it is. They also try to get you to tip them out of the money you’re raising as well as your donators to do the same. Maybe it’s just me, but if I’m begging for money and being vulnerable and putting my business out there I am not in the position to be tipping right now, ON TOP of the fee ya’ll took from the already vulnerable folks. Just doesn’t make sense to me. I also enjoyed that I could post offline donations to the cause so it could help me keep track of it all. Overall, I’d use this platform again over the other (hopefully I never need to!), for the fact it only took less than a day to disburse the funds raised, but just be mindful that the fees aren’t free and are no different than the other leading funding platform!
